Cancer is either the first or second leading cause of death for racial and ethnic minorities in the United States. Many cancers are preventable and this panel will focus on building awareness and sharing practical strategies that you and your family can use to help prevent certain types of cancer. The experts will also discuss practical tips on how you and your family can best work with health professionals to manage a cancer diagnosis. They will also delve into the various factors that contribute to the excess burden of disease facing communities of color.
